Delivering for Our Clients: A Productive August with Two Key Projects...In the M365 Space

The Journey to Microsoft 365 and Beyond!

As we hit mid-August, it's a good time to take stock of our team's progress. We're excited to highlight our recent achievements, which have revolved around two significant projects that directly benefit our valued clients.

 

The first project involved a laptop overhaul using Microsoft Intune. We successfully rebuilt 150 laptops, stepping up from Chromebook devices. This wasn't just a swap; it was an upgrade that empowers our clients with better tools. With Intune, we've made sure these laptops are more secure and efficient. Plus, it's led to a wider adoption of Microsoft 365, giving our clients a boost in productivity and collaboration.

 

The second major initiative was a larger refresh, we have simplified our clients approach by focusing on cloud-based identity (AzureAD) and device management (Intune), leaving behind the hybrid approach. This has led to a smoother operation overall, aligning the organisation better with modern trends.

 

At the core of this transformation was our rollout of Microsoft Intune. We've set up a solid management platform, improving both security and performance. Combining this with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint has created a stronger Defense against cyber threats.

 

We also streamlined the application setup to ensure users can access the tools they need with ease. The onboarding process for 350 devices and subsequent rebuilds displayed our commitment to detail, with the clients financial resources committed elsewhere, this was a rebuild, and in some cases the hardware was approaching its end of use. We have made extensive improvement here and taken advantage of driver management within Microsoft Intune, now all devices are running the same version of Windows and running the latest supported drivers.

 

Thanks to these efforts, we've delivered a revamped environment for our clients. Devices now run on Windows 11, managed through Intune. And with Office 365 apps for enterprise, along with smart data handling using OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams, collaboration and productivity have taken off.

 

Not forgetting communication, we've integrated Microsoft Teams direct routing for both of these clients in the last 3 months! This means smoother enterprise-level voice communication, making teamwork even more effective.

 

When we look at these achievements, it's not just about projects completed; it's about delivering real value to our clients. Our focus on innovation, security, and enhancing user experiences is what sets us apart. The future holds more exciting possibilities, and we're thrilled to lead the charge.
