At INTEGY, we are dedicated to solving business problems with technology, and our recent engagement with the Coroners’ Courts Support Service (CCSS) is a testament to this commitment. The CCSS is an independent voluntary organisation that provides emotional support and practical help to bereaved families, witnesses, and others attending an inquest at a Coroner’s Court. With a team comprising both staff and volunteers, ensuring seamless access and sharing of data was paramount to their operations.
The Challenge
The CCSS needed a robust and secure IT infrastructure that would allow them to focus on their core mission without worrying about technological constraints. They required a solution that would enable efficient data access and sharing while ensuring industry standard security and compliance.
Our Solution
We at INTEGY were thrilled to assist the CCSS in their transition to Microsoft 365 Business Premium. Our approach involved deploying best practice configurations and securing their M365 tenant, covering Identity, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams. This comprehensive setup ensured that all aspects of their digital workspace were protected and optimised for productivity.
Key Highlights of the Deployment:
- Identity Management: Implemented robust identity management solutions to ensure secure access to resources.
- Exchange Online: Configured Exchange Online for efficient and secure email communication.
- SharePoint and OneDrive: Set up SharePoint and OneDrive for seamless data sharing and collaboration.
- SharePoint: Creation of libraries displayed to the user as a hub site.
- Teams: Deployed Microsoft Teams to enhance communication and collaboration among staff and volunteers.
- Data Migration: Migration of data from a range of sources including DropBox, OneDrive and Google.
Ensuring Cyber Security Essentials Plus Readiness
In addition to securing the M365 tenant, we ensured that the CCSS's Intune configuration was aligned with Cyber Security Essentials Plus readiness. This involved setting up policies and controls to protect their devices and data, providing an added layer of security.
Hardware Refresh
To complement the software deployment, we also refreshed all hardware to Lenovo devices. This move ensured that the CCSS had consistent and reliable hardware that would serve them well for years to come.
Technical Leadership
The technical deployment was led by Mick Tattersall (Cloud Engineer), with assistance from Aaron Stallabrass (Senior Cloud Engineer). Their expertise and dedication were instrumental in the successful completion of this project.
A Rewarding Engagement
This engagement was highly rewarding for us at INTEGY. It encompassed all elements of the INTEGY pattern, ensuring that the CCSS is secure by default, AI-ready, and Windows 11 enabled. We are proud to have played a part in empowering the CCSS to focus on what they do best—providing invaluable support to those in need.
We look forward to continuing our partnership with the CCSS and supporting them in their mission with cutting-edge technology solutions.
