When a leading housing association engaged INTEGY, the organisation was operating a traditional IT estate that relied heavily on legacy device management, on-premises infrastructure and fragmented collaboration tools.
The business wanted to support increasingly mobile ways of working, improve security, enable remote workers and modernise collaboration across the organisation without increasing operational complexity.
The Starting Point
The environment had limited cloud adoption, traditional desktop management processes and a growing requirement for secure remote access to systems and data.
The organisation wanted to embrace cloud technologies but required a structured roadmap, technical expertise and user adoption support to ensure the transition was successful.
How INTEGY Made an Impact
INTEGY delivered a complete Microsoft Modern Workplace transformation programme, implementing:

The project included modern endpoint management, cloud identity, secure remote working, collaboration transformation and extensive user adoption support.
In parallel INTEGY transformed traditional server workloads with a move to Azure. Assessing each server to understand if it could be decommissioned, transformed or migrated the server footprint was dramatically reduced, an Azure Landing Zone deployed and services migrated. Almost overnight the legacy on-premises hardware was decommissioned and the organisation were considered cloud first.
Alongside the technology deployment, INTEGY delivered training, change management, communications and governance activities to ensure users embraced the new ways of working.
Where They Are Now
Today the housing association operates on a secure, cloud-managed Microsoft platform.
Staff can collaborate effectively from any location, devices are centrally managed through Intune, security controls are continually monitored and the organisation benefits from a modern workplace experience built around Microsoft 365.
